Parent Portal Information

In September 2013, Elk Island Public Schools introduced a new fee management system.  The Acorn system synchronizes with all aspects of PowerSchool, our district student Information system.

All families with students registered in Elk Island Public Schools, will be able to login through the parent portal of PowerSchool to access their school fees. 

Early in September, every elementary student will receive a letter with information regarding parent access to PowerSchool.  The Parent Portal allows parents the capacity to create a single sign on for all students in one family who are currently enrolled in elementary, junior high and senior high in Elk Island Public Schools.  The letter will contain instructions on navigating to the Parent Portal and creating an account.  The required information for linking students to the account will also be printed.  If you are currently registered on the Parent Portal with junior and/or senior high students, you will now be able to add the elementary student. 

Once the Parent account is created, you will not need to create a new account each year.  The account information will follow your student as long as they are enrolled in Elk Island Public Schools.

Please note that at the elementary school level, only student attendance, student fees, and report cards will be available through the Parent Portal.

As part of this process, it is important to provide the school with a current email address.  Please ensure that all your contact information is correct when correction forms come home on the first day of school.
